Join our team in a role where you will be responsible for supplier management, including the identification, selection, qualification, and evaluation of suppliers. You will also be responsible for the continuous development of suppliers within your area of responsibility, in cooperation with Supplier Quality Management (SCQM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Active participation in the international team responsible for a given commodity group at the parent company, and the implementation of strategic goals defined for the commodity group.
• Development and implementation of supplier strategies in the designated area of responsibility.
• Risk management related to suppliers within your own area of responsibility.
• Conducting market research, requests for proposals, analysis, and evaluation of offers.
• Conducting price negotiations and contract conclusions.
• Professional support for projects affecting the area of responsibility.
• Support for operational buyers in professional questions and as an escalation forum in supplier-specific questions.
• Support for material management to ensure a high level of delivery reliability with minimal inventory.
• Continuous maintenance of system data related to the task.

Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering or commerce, or 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Confident knowledge of English and/or German.
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability; high degree of flexibility and independence, thinking in systems, teamwork.
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings.
